LTC Shooting Qualification March 4th
Although the traditional class is suggested for a better understanding of the laws and allows for specific questions and class discussions, we understand that some of our customers would rather take the online course.
You are now able to complete a Texas License to Carry course online and then preform the shooting qualification portion with one of our instructors for $100. That's it!
You can do it in 4 easy steps:
1. Sign up for the 1-2 hour shooting portion at Ally Outdoors.
2. Complete the online training here
3. Bring your completed online training form to the qualification.
Take your completed form and upload it to the DPS Website after you fill out the application here:
All you need for the qualification is a handgun (available for rent), 100 rounds of reliable ammunition, and eye and ear protection (available for purchase).
NOTE: The shooting qualification requires that you must be able to load, unload, and fire the handgun proficiently. If you are new to shooting or inexperienced with shooting, we strongly recommend taking one of our entry level handgun courses or a private instruction session prior to the LTC qualification.
• Firearm (.22 caliber or larger [handguns are available to be rented])
• Materials to take notes
• Driver's License or other form of identification
Disclaimer: Due to high demand of our classes, no refund(s) will be issued in the event of a no-show or failure to provide, at least, a 48-hour notice to reschedule. All sales are final.
